And more books...

From Emily Dickinson-

There is no Frigate like a Book (1286)

There is no Frigate like a Book
To take us Lands away
Nor any Coursers like a Page
Of prancing Poetry –
This Traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of Toll –
How frugal is the Chariot
That bears the Human Soul –

I've never read this before, although I do like Emily D. What a wonderful poem and sentiment.

On board the USS Blue Ridge, many admire your essays and Blog. The Flag Secretary graduated from both Harvard and Oxford, and his Father taught at Harvard... and he MUCH admired and read your BLOG. Both he and the Captain are MPA (not MBA) from Harvard. Of course, I talk casually about when I was at Harvard (meaning my weekend there once). Love, alg
